NPTC is functioning from 1995 under the direct orders of the then President. Bright students from all over the country have been selected in it. These students after doing there F. Sc. Or A levels got admission in prestigious universities of the country and abroad. After leaving NPTC Camp, they have developed a strong connection with it. In this connection some of the alumni were of the view that a body, which comprises of NPTC alumni, should be formed.
This body aimed to spread the message of NPTC to all those parts of the country where is not heard of. Dr. Abdullah Sadiq, the Rector PIEAS, very kindly agreed with the proposal, which was put forward by Al Hasanat Rasul, Mehreen Alam, Saleh Bin Tariq and Seemal Mumtaz. So, the first get together of NPTC was organized at PIEAS during the first camp of NPTC 4. It was very kind of Dr Abdullah Sadiq to Alumni Get-together an annual event. These alumni are now an integral part of the STEM careers programme.
